The App for the iPhone
Are you so attached to your iPhone that you scarcely want to put it down? With the iPhone app from Revox, that is no problem. Re:control M232 app ensures that you can control the Revox World comfortably with the user interface that
you are used to, through the display on your iPhone, including album covers in the Play view and album thumbnails in the List view. Even with very large Multiroom projects with several M10s, the App can bring the systems together such that all rooms can be served with just one App.
Source selection and operation of the sources
As well as selecting the most frequently used sources through the opening screen of the M232 App for controlling the Revox M range, you can also use the Re:system M51 or Re:system M100 display, 1:1.
Both traditional sources such as a CD player or an FM radio and contemporary sources such as a UPnP server or an Internet radio can be operated through the display.
For sources that are made available through the Re:source Multimedia module, a further level of the App offers the option of also browsing by cover art.
The various play views have different layouts depending on the source. As a rule, a cover or the logo from an Internet radio station is shown. Additionally, a text display informs you which artist or which radio station is currently playing.
Using the control buttons such as Play, Stop, Pause or Skip, further actions can be carried out, depending on the source. Of course, the App can also be used to set the volume to your personal requirements.
Multiple Revox systems
The App can control as many Revox systems as you like. This function is particularly important when several systems are being operated in parallel in larger projects. Needless to say, it is also possible to remotely control the Revox Multiroom System. If you have forgotten to turn the music off before going on holiday, you can take care of it with your iPhone.
Working in tandem with the Gira App
We have developed a special function together with our cooperation partner Gira. We can call up each other's Apps. If you want to adjust the lighting and heating in your house to the required level and at the same time you want to turn the volume of the music up or down, you can call the Revox App from the Gira App. You will of course then find a button in the Revox App that takes you back to the Gira App.
FAQ - Häufig gestellte Fragen
Why can I not see any cover art on my iPhone?
Multiple reasons can cause this problem.
Very often we have experienced that the chain of storage (NAS), UPnP service and multimedia module do not harmonize. Revox made the best experience with the combination of QNAP storages and Twonky Media.
Another reason could be, that the multimedia module has not the latest fimrware installed. Please contact you retail partner.
If you are using multiple iPads, iPhones etc. that access the multimedia module simultaneously it is important to know that the advanced features like cover art and scrollable lists and be only accesed by one device.
My App is not working on my iPod touch
Please note that the M232 App only works with an iPod Touch of the second generation. The first generation of the iPod Touch (without integrated speakers) does not support all of the features that Revox requires.
