The future in sight

With the Re:system M100 you have access at all times to exactly the functions that you want to use. Perhaps you would like to integrate Internet radio, external music and film archives or a portable player such as an iPod into your system tomorrow? And then the day after that, you would like to be able to access your Re:system M100 from the bedroom, the kitchen or the terrace? With the Re:system M100, you can expand your system step-by-step, just as you want, by adding modules underneath, to the right or to the left, making new functions both visible and accessible.

Multimedia module - Sustainably up to date

The growth potential of the Re:system M100 is based on sustainability and longevity. Using the multimedia module, you can seamlessly integrate Internet radio, iPod, USB drives and network discs. Complete audio archives can be controlled through the server module. And finally, the Multiroom module can make your M100 into an intuitively controllable entertainment central unit for the whole house. Whatever you may want tomorrow, with the M100, you are already on the
right path today.

Multiroom module
Multiroom module

Stand-alone or Multiroom

The Re:system M100 wouldn't be a true Revox product if it didn’t offer significantly more than other stereo systems in terms of functionality and modularity. By the addition of the optional 1+1 sub-module, the M100 changes from being the exclusive standalone solution to being a compact Multiroom central unit that can supply exquisite sound to eight more rooms, entirely according to the wishes and requirements of its owner. And if that isn’t enough, with the external 4 zone Multiroom module, you can even distribute music in up to 32 rooms.

FM tuner module
FM tuner module

FM tuner module - Always on station

The FM tuner module is designed to receive FM radio stations and is characterised by its excellent reception properties. Up to 50 stations can be stored in the memory in any order using their RDS identifier or an individually assigned name. By deploying up to three tuner modules in the Re:system M100, up to four different radio stations (as the M100 has one integrated FM tuner) can be listened to simultaneously within a Revox Multiroom System.

Communication modules
Communication modules

Communication module

The communication module is available in several versions - from the control of the Revox M37 audio server to the connection of the Kaleidescape audio/video server to the connection of selected CD players, numerous possibilites are available to integrate the module and to recall the named sources even from the side room.

Request programmes, 24/7

The Re:source KaleidescapeTM module integrates the KaleidescapeTM video server in the Revox system. The server audio content can be shown on the displays and called up very simply. The films stored on the server can be selected through an intuitive OSD on the television. The perfect, simple to operate Home Cinema experience is a result of the system’s friction-free task division. The image data is distributed through the KaleidescapeTM World. Revox handles the processing and the complete control of the audio signals.

Optional MR slave module
Optional MR slave module

Audiophile in the side room

The M100 doesn’t just make a good impression as a controller unit but also as a high-end component within a large Multiroom System. With the addition of the optional Re:source slave module, the M100 can import up to a further 8 sources from the Revox Multiroom controller, alongside its own source. The small additional module can be installed in the basic unit as an option and straight away, the M100 can act in its new role as a side room amplifier, satisfying the highest audiophile demands.

Spare module - for symmetry lovers

The spare module has one single function: to establish symmetry when it comes to an uneven number of adequate models.

The module is hollow in order that, for instance, cable can be placed inside.

FAQ - Häufig gestellte Fragen

Why does the multimedia module not activate the alarm, even though I have set a timer?

In a first step please check whether the multimedia module is mapped on one of the buttons Tuner, CD/DVD or AUX 1, because only these sources can be chosen by the timer. Tuner and CD normally always work, but with the multimedia module it can happen that the last content is not available anymore, because the source has been deleted or the audio stream is not working . Since software MMM+3 2.06 Revox offers a secure solution, so that you are definitely woken up. Initially the module searches for the radio station which was listened to last. If for some reason this radio station is not available, the multimedia module works through the “My Music” list. If there is no music available, the multimedia module selects music from an USB Stick, which needs to be plugged in and contain music in mp3 format in the root directory. So the timer will work properly now, even if there is a problem with the Internet connection.

I can not play the music from my iPad with the multimedia module.

Due to the system this is currently not possible.

Which iPhones and iPods can I use with the multimedia module?

The multimedia module is compatible with current iPhones and iPods – an exception is the iPod shuffle.

Why does my Multimedia Module not recognize my Router?

Please do not use the space or any special character for naming the network for the WLAN. This could lead to difficulties in recognizing the Router.

Why does my „Fritzbox“ does not asign an IP adress to my Multimedia Module, neither via DHCP nor with a manual IP?

The LAN Ports of the “Fritzbox” are set on “auto” by default setting. This means the Ports are turned off and only when there is data traffic the Ports are turned back on automatically. This “Wake-Up-Function” does not work reliable with Multimedia products. Please set the LAN Ports on “active” in the setup menu of the “Fritzbox”.
